The Disney Treasure is set to introduce several new dining and entertainment options when it begins service in late 2024, as announced by Disney Cruise Line in a press release.

Blending fresh experiences with popular favorites, these offerings will include an adult lounge themed after “The Aristocats,” a menu inspired by “Coco,” and a dinner event centered on “Guardians of the Galaxy.”

Introducing the Scat Cat Lounge

Disney Cruise Line revealed that the Scat Cat Lounge will feature the "eclectic elegance of an old-school jazz club,” inspired by the performance of “Ev’erybody Wants to be a Cat” from Disney's "The Aristocats."

The lounge will be adorned with hanging lanterns and a paw-print baby grand piano, designed to reflect the sophistication of the character Scat Cat from the film. It will also incorporate design elements from the Grand Hall’s Agrabah-inspired architecture, using a matching color scheme and carefully selected décor.

Guests will enjoy live music along with a menu of craft cocktails. Notable offerings include the Créme de la Créme Martini, served in a French-style ceramic bowl, blending cognac and chocolate into a creamy dessert cocktail reminiscent of the kittens Marie, Toulouse, and Berlioz from "The Aristocats."

Another signature drink, the Cat Drink, will mix clarified bourbon, amaro, Aperol, and fresh lemon, served in custom drinkware embossed with a cat image.

Jumbeaux’s Sweets

Inspired by Disney’s “Zootopia,” Jumbeaux’s Sweets will offer over 35 flavors of handmade gelato, ice cream, plant-based frozen desserts, and sorbets. The shop will feature treats like the Judy Hopps Carrot Cupcake, a spiced carrot cake with lemon frosting, white chocolate crème, and blueberry compote, topped with a chocolate piece portraying Judy Hopps.

Other offerings include the Mango Leopard Cakesicle, a lemon fudge cake pop with mango chocolate glaze and leopard print decoration, and Carrot Chocolate Covered Strawberries served over cookie crumble soil.

The Zootopia Chocolate Bark Post Card will feature different characters from "Zootopia," each with a unique flavor blend of dried fruits, nuts, and sprinkles in dark, milk, or white chocolate.

Cinematic dining experiences

Disney Treasure will bring back the Marvel-themed Worlds of Marvel dining experience, featuring two unique nights, including a new event starring Rocket and Groot from “Guardians of the Galaxy.” The “Marvel Celebration of Heroes: Groot Remix” will pay tribute to superheroes who protect the world, with guests enjoying a mix of hit songs and family-friendly Marvel trivia activities.

Additionally, guests will experience “Avengers: Quantum Encounter,” a dining adventure where Ant-Man and The Wasp defend new Quantum Core technology from a villain.

At Plaza de Coco, diners will be treated to “an array of artful dishes” inspired by the Pixar film “Coco,” aiming to transport them to the vibrant town depicted in the movie. Traditional recipes from the Rivera family will inform a modern menu that captures the festive flavors of their world.

The restaurant will offer two celebratory evening programs with theatrical entertainment, featuring dishes such as Abuelita Elena Shrimp Diabla with chili-chipotle sauce and Chorizo Street Croquettes with chili-lime crema.

The Disney Treasure will embark on its maiden voyage, a seven-night Eastern Caribbean cruise from Port Canaveral, on December 21, 2024. As a sister ship to the Disney Wish, launched in 2022, it will spend its first season offering seven-night itineraries to the Eastern and Western Caribbean from Port Canaveral.
