On Sunday, October 27, Holland America Line’s Noordam made its inaugural visit to Tokyo’s harbor as part of a grand 28-night journey around Japan, Taiwan, and the Philippines.

The cruise set sail from Yokohama on October 13, marking the start of its Circle Japan, Taiwan, and the Philippines Collector itinerary.

After its visit to Tokyo, Noordam continued toward Kobe/Osaka later that afternoon. As the vessel left the port, Tokyo students bid it farewell with a performance from a brass band, adding a memorable note to the departure.

The Noordam had already called at several other ports across Japan, including Aomori, Otaru, Hakodate, Akita, Sakaiminato, Fukuoka, Kagoshima, Kochi, Kobe/Osaka, and Shimizu.

Additional destinations include Naha and Ishigaki in Japan; Keelung and Kaohsiung in Taiwan; and Manila, Boracay, and Puerto Princesa in the Philippines. The voyage will conclude in Hong Kong on November 10.
