Global Ports Holding (GPH) has donated €250,000 to support emergency relief and rebuilding efforts following the devastating floods in Valencia, Spain, according to a company press release.

The funds are allocated to the Valencia Government to assist with search and rescue operations, as well as reconstruction projects in the hardest-hit areas.

This support aligns with the Spanish government’s broader response, which included deploying 2,000 soldiers, 2,500 Civil Guard officers, and 1,800 national police. GPH emphasized its commitment to aiding local communities and providing disaster relief.

“Our thoughts are with all those affected by this tragedy,” said Javier Rodriguez Sanchez, GPH’s regional director for West Med and Asia. “We are committed to standing with our communities in times of crisis and are grateful to the rescue teams, volunteers, and local authorities who are working tirelessly to bring relief to the region.”

Additionally, GPH has urged its entire port network to continue backing Valencia’s ongoing recovery efforts.
