Carnival to Deploy Miracle & Spirit in Alaska for Summer '26
Carnival Cruise Line has announced that it will be sending the Carnival Miracle and Carnival Spirit to Alaska during the summer of 2026.
According to a company press release, both Spirit-class ships will operate different itineraries departing from Seattle.
In addition, a third vessel will sail to Alaska and Canada from San Francisco in 2026. Details and itineraries for this ship are expected to be announced later this year.
The Carnival Miracle, currently based in Tampa, will begin its Alaskan summer season on April 27, 2026. After completing a ten-night voyage through the Inside Passage, the ship will start a series of seven-night cruises on May 7, 2026.
Sailing from Seattle every Thursday, these itineraries include scenic cruising through the Tracy Arm Fjord and visits to Skagway, Juneau, Ketchikan, and Victoria. Before concluding its Alaskan program in late September, the ship will also offer a nine-night cruise that features an additional stop in Sitka, giving passengers more time to explore Alaska.
Meanwhile, the Carnival Spirit, following a trans-Canal cruise that departs from Mobile, will arrive in Seattle on April 28, 2026. The Spirit's 2026 Alaska season will include seven-night sailings that also visit British Columbia. These itineraries feature scenic cruising at the Tracy Arm Fjord and stops in Skagway, Juneau, Ketchikan, and Victoria.
Before returning to Mobile in early October, the Spirit will also offer a special 15-day Carnival Journeys round-trip cruise to Hawaii, stopping at Honolulu, Oahu; Nawiliwili, Kauai; Kahului, Maui; and Hilo, Hawaii, as well as Victoria, British Columbia.
Carnival has also shared plans for its 2026 Europe deployment, with the Carnival Legend sailing through the Mediterranean and Northern Europe. Additionally, the company announced summer Caribbean itineraries for several ships, including the Carnival Jubilee, Carnival Mardi Gras, and Carnival Celebration.
