Carnival Cruise Line has announced the dining options for its new destination, Celebration Key, which is scheduled to open in July 2025 on Grand Bahama, according to a recent press release.

The new destination will boast more than 30 food and beverage venues, including four full-service restaurants, a food hall, nine food trucks, five snack shacks, two quick-service kiosks, and 12 bars. Guests will be able to enjoy a wide variety of culinary choices, ranging from local Bahamian dishes to seafood and barbecue. As part of the “Island Eats” program, several locations will offer complimentary lunch options.

“Great food and beverage options are essential to the Carnival experience, and we’ve designed Celebration Key with an array of dining opportunities, whether our guests want a casual snack, a quick meal or a full dining experience,” said Christine Duffy, president of Carnival Cruise Line. “Just like there will be no shortage of ways to enjoy their day in paradise, there will also be something for everyone to eat and drink at Celebration Key.”

One of the highlights at Calypso Lagoon will be Mingo’s Tropical Bar & Kitchen, a waterfront full-service restaurant named after The Bahamas’ national bird, the flamingo. Mingo’s will serve Bahamian favorites such as fried fish and conch fritters, as well as burgers, seafood, and tacos. The bar will offer frozen drinks and cocktails, while Mingo’s Express food truck, located nearby, will provide fast meals for guests on the move, including hamburgers and salads through self-ordering kiosks.

Also at Calypso Lagoon, Surf N’ Sauce BBQ & Brews will feature slow-smoked meats cooked in an outdoor smoker, complemented by a selection of sauces and sides.

Over at Starfish Lagoon, Gill’s Grill will offer a family-friendly dining experience, specializing in Caribbean seafood dishes such as seafood baskets, local fish, and lobster, along with chicken, burgers, and meals for kids. The Captain’s Galley Food Hall will feature five different outlets serving a variety of foods, including burgers, hot dogs, fried chicken, pizza, Mediterranean bowls, and tacos.
