London’s O2 Arena has revealed a new sponsorship deal by partnering exclusively with the upscale cruise line, Windstar Cruises.

Windstar Cruises will now serve as the official cruise partner for The O2, a move that reinforces its strategy to strengthen its presence in the UK market. This agreement grants the brand significant exposure throughout the venue, connecting with millions of annual visitors and appealing to a demographic of affluent travelers.

A standout element of the collaboration is Windstar’s integration into The NinetyThird by Qatar Airways, the venue’s ultra-exclusive VIP club.

A model of a Windstar cruise ship will be showcased year-round in the premium lounge, offering a striking visual representation of the brand. Membership in The NinetyThird—priced at roughly £16,000 (about $20,000) per person each year—is completely sold out, emphasizing Windstar’s targeted approach toward a select and highly valuable audience that mirrors its boutique, luxury experience.

With the UK ranked as the world’s third-largest cruise market, Windstar’s calculated expansion in the region is timely. The cruise line recently announced a series of three- and four-day sailings from London, set to begin in summer 2026 from HMS Belfast. This new itinerary is expected to draw both first-time cruisers and seasoned travelers in search of a unique, intimate sailing adventure.

“We are thrilled to be showcasing our brand in this iconic venue and to be reaching new prospective guests for Windstar,” said Windstar President Christopher Prelog. “AEG, The O2, and Windstar are all leaders in their respective categories, and we feel this is a great first step in a meaningful and rich collaboration.”

Nathan Kosky, Vice President at AEG Global Partnerships, added, “We warmly welcome Windstar Cruises, our newest sponsor to The O2, as they explore new opportunities for their expansion. We look forward to working together to showcase their offering to the millions of fans who visit the venue every year.”

This sponsorship announcement coincides with Windstar’s upcoming fleet expansion. The Star Seeker, the inaugural ship of its new Star Class, is scheduled to debut in December 2025, marking the beginning of a new era in modern, small-ship cruising.
