Princess Cruises will station three ships, Royal Princess, Grand Princess, and Crown Princess, in Australia for the 2026-27 cruise season, according to the company’s latest deployment plans.

The Grand Princess, a 2,600-guest ship, will return to the South Pacific in November 2026 after spending the 2025-26 season in the Caribbean. Initially sailing from Sydney, the ship will reposition to Brisbane in December, offering seven- to 14-night itineraries to destinations such as Tasmania, Fiji, New Zealand, and Queensland.

Replacing the Crown Princess, the Grand Princess will continue operating from Australia into the local summer of 2027.

One of the season's highlights is the Grand Princess’s 79-night Circle Pacific cruise departing in June 2027 from Brisbane, Sydney, and Auckland. This itinerary includes visits to 32 ports across 13 countries, including the United States (with stops in Hawaii, Alaska, and California), Canada, Japan, Taiwan, China, and Vietnam. Additionally, the ship will offer a 28-night Round Australia cruise departing from Brisbane and Sydney in April 2027.

The Royal Princess, which accommodates 3,600 passengers, will arrive in Australia after a summer season in Alaska. Starting in late November 2026, the ship will operate from Sydney, offering three- to 13-night cruises to New Zealand, the Sapphire Coast, Queensland, Fiji, and Tasmania throughout the local season.

Meanwhile, the Crown Princess will also sail in Australia during the 2026-27 winter cruise season. Before relocating to the Caribbean in December 2026, the ship will offer an October Round Australia cruise. This 28-night itinerary departs from Sydney and includes stops in Melbourne, Albany, Fremantle, Broome, Darwin, Port Douglas, and other locations.

Following its Australian deployment, the Crown Princess will reposition to San Juan, Puerto Rico, where it will operate seven-night Caribbean cruises for the remainder of the winter season.
