Carnival Hosts Largest Vow Renewal at Sea on Valentine’s Day

Carnival Cruise Line celebrated its biggest vow renewal event at sea this Valentine’s Day, with ceremonies taking place across all 27 ships in its fleet.
In Australia, the celebrations were virtually officiated by Chief Fun Officer Shaquille O’Neal.
Passengers aboard the Carnival Splendor participated in the event during a four-night cruise to Moreton Island from Sydney, while those on the Carnival Luminosa joined the ceremony on a seven-night South Pacific voyage from Brisbane. The festivities featured a vow renewal ceremony, a “kiss cam” moment, and a reception with champagne toasts, cake-cutting, and live music.
“You can absolutely feel the love onboard Carnival ships, especially on Valentine’s Day. So many of our guests meet, get engaged and even get married onboard our ships, and our vow renewal ceremony is a wonderful occasion to help couples celebrate their love when they sail with Carnival,” said Kara Glamore, vice president of Carnival Cruise Line Australia.
Carnival offers weddings, vow renewals, and other romantic celebrations at sea and in picturesque destinations through its Weddings by Carnival program. Over the past year, the company has hosted 1,220 ceremonies, with a variety of packages and itineraries available for engagements, weddings, honeymoons, and vow renewals.
