Ocean Network Express (ONE) has announced major upgrades to its Scandinavian Baltic Express (SBX) service. Along with the current coverage of Gdynia and Frederica, ONE has broadened the service rotation to now include the ports of Antwerp, Rotterdam, Rauma, and Gävle.

"This expansion offers greater flexibility and faster transit times for the intra-Europe shipments of our clients," the company stated.

To enhance flexibility, the addition of Antwerp and Rotterdam as main ports provides two strategic options for seamless integration into the supply chains of ONE’s clients.

ONE emphasized its commitment to delivering comprehensive service, with these new ports helping to ensure optimal transit times for both imports and exports.

First Direct Service: ONE will introduce the first direct connections to Rauma (Finland) and Gävle (Sweden).

Double Call in Gdynia: This will optimize transit times for both import and export cargo.

Operational Stability: The service will be supported by two dedicated vessels, ensuring consistent and reliable operations.

The updated port rotation will begin in Antwerp and continue through Rotterdam, Frederica, Gdynia (1st call), Rauma, Gävle, and Gdynia (2nd call) before returning to Antwerp. This will be a weekly service, operated by two vessels, with the service set to launch on October 20, 2024.
