Norwegian Cruise Line (NCL) has announced the redeployment of Norwegian Dawn and Norwegian Star to Tampa for the 2025-26 winter season, replacing previously planned South America and Africa sailings. Bookings for the new itineraries are now open on the company’s website.

The Norwegian Dawn will begin its Tampa homeport season on November 16, 2025, following a trans-Atlantic cruise from Spain. The ship will offer seven-night Western Caribbean cruises, visiting destinations such as Cozumel, Costa Maya, Harvest Caye, Roatán, and Key West.

Additionally, the Dawn will sail ten-night itineraries to ports in the Western and Southern Caribbean, including Cabo Rojo, George Town, Falmouth, Aruba, and Curaçao. Before heading to Europe in April 2026, the ship will also operate four-night cruises to the Bahamas, featuring a stop at NCL’s private island, Great Stirrup Cay.

The Norwegian Star will join the Dawn in Tampa, arriving on December 5, 2025, after a trans-Atlantic crossing. It will operate a mix of four- to 12-night cruises to the Eastern, Southern, and Western Caribbean, as well as the Bahamas.

Key destinations on these itineraries include St. Thomas, St. Maarten, Cabo Rojo, Falmouth, Key West, and Great Stirrup Cay. The Star’s season will conclude with a trans-Atlantic voyage to Portugal in April 2026.

NCL has also adjusted the deployments of the Norwegian Jewel and Norwegian Jade for the 2025-26 season. The Jewel, originally set to sail from Tampa, will now operate cruises from Miami to the Bahamas, Southern Caribbean, and Panama Canal. Meanwhile, the Jade will stay on the West Coast, offering Mexican Riviera cruises from San Diego instead of trans-Canal sailings.
