Carnival Corporation has earned a spot on The Wall Street Journal's Management Top 250 list, being recognized as one of the Best-Managed Companies of 2024.

Among the 250 companies honored, Carnival Corporation ranked as the highest-performing cruise-specific company overall. It was also listed among the top five companies within the Leisure, Arts, and Hospitality sector, according to a company press release.

“It’s an honor to have a well-respected organization like The Wall Street Journal recognize Carnival Corporation as one of the Best-Managed Companies of 2024,” said Josh Weinstein, CEO of Carnival Corporation.

“This achievement reflects the dedication and hard work of our talented leadership team who keeps our business moving in the right direction,” Weinstein added.

“It also acknowledges the collective passion and commitment of our 160,000 team members worldwide who truly drive our success, delivering unforgettable happiness to millions of guests by providing extraordinary cruise vacations, while honoring the integrity of every ocean we sail, place we visit and life we touch.”

The Wall Street Journal compiles the Management Top 250 list in collaboration with Claremont Graduate University's Drucker Institute. The list highlights the top-performing companies from a pool of hundreds of U.S. firms, measuring corporate effectiveness in five key areas: customer satisfaction, employee engagement and development, innovation, social responsibility, and financial strength.

Only publicly traded U.S. companies listed on the New York Stock Exchange or Nasdaq were eligible for the ranking. The evaluation was based on 35 data points sourced from 16 independent providers.

Carnival Corporation stated that this recognition reflects its leadership in sustainable cruising, its commitment to delivering shareholder value, and its ongoing efforts to create a positive environment for its 160,000 team members.

This accolade adds to a growing list of recent honors for the company, including a perfect score on the Human Rights Campaign Foundation’s 2023-2024 Corporate Equality Index.
