A fresh maritime route to Russia has been launched by a new Turkish shipping line.
ULD Shipping, based in Istanbul, has introduced a Black Sea feeder service linking Turkey with Novorossiysk, featuring two leased 634 TEU sister ships, reports Alphaliner.
Despite the withdrawal of most major international shipping companies from servicing Russia following the onset of the Ukrainian conflict two years ago, several firms, including emerging Turkish liner operations like FESCO, Reel Shipping, New New Shipping/Torgmoll, OVP, Safetrans, Mountain Air Shipping, Neco, Modul, and Global Field Line, have swiftly stepped in to bridge the service void.
