Marella's Discovery 2 Sails to Canaries & Med for Winter

Starting November 7, Marella Cruises will homeport the Marella Discovery 2 in Malaga, Spain, for a series of winter sailings before moving to Tenerife and Gran Canaria in December 2024. Originally, the ship was scheduled to sail in Asia.

These new itineraries will be available for purchase starting May 23.

We know guests love the beautiful Canaries and Madeira. As Marella Cruises is part of TUI, we can offer incredible shore experiences with our destination teams, along with a great onboard experience. All of these itineraries include cruise and stay options, with excellent flight connections from various UK airports.”

He added, “We understand the disappointment caused by the cancellation of our Asia program on Marella Discovery 2, but we are confident that our diverse program offers something special for our customers.”

From Malaga, Spain, Marella will offer two itineraries:

1. **Spanish Flavours**, departing November 7, 2024, visiting Malaga, Palma de Mallorca, Barcelona, Valencia, Cartagena, Gibraltar, and returning to Malaga.

2. **Sights and Delights**, departing November 14, 2024, visiting Malaga, Lisbon, Cadiz, Casablanca, Cartagena, Motril, and returning to Malaga.

From Tenerife, the Marella Discovery 2 will offer two new itineraries:

1. **Winter Escape**, departing November 28, 2024, visiting Malaga, Gibraltar, Cadiz, Gran Canaria, and Tenerife.

2. **Sail into Spring**, departing March 24, 2025, visiting Gran Canaria, Tenerife, Cartagena, Malta, and Limassol, Cyprus.
