On March 19, 2025, Hong Kong’s Kai Tak Cruise Terminal hosted three cruise ships from two major cruise lines, according to a press release.

The Queen Anne, which had arrived the previous day for an overnight stay, and the Norwegian Sky both made their inaugural visits, while the Queen Elizabeth also docked on the same day. The combined arrival of these vessels brought more than 10,000 passengers and crew to the city.

Jeff Bent, managing director of WCT, expressed his enthusiasm for the event, stating: “We are delighted to welcome in a single day three majestic ships from two lines, for homeport and transit calls, catering to different source markets. It demonstrates the broad appeal of Hong Kong, as well as the efficiency and flexibility of the Kai Tak Cruise Terminal to handle multiple varied operations.”

Looking ahead, Bent highlighted the terminal’s growing activity in 2025: “We look forward to an increased number of ship calls, passengers, and visiting cruise lines in 2025, including seven inaugural calls, three of which arrived in just the first three months of the year. Astro Ocean’s Piano Land arrived on 6 January, Cunard’s Queen Anne on 18 March and NCL’s Norwegian Sky on 19 March.”
