Royal Caribbean International has updated the itinerary for a 2025 cruise aboard the Utopia of the Seas, now including a second stop at its private island, Perfect Day at CocoCay.

This voyage, part of the ship’s short cruises to the Bahamas, will depart from Port Canaveral on February 3, 2025.

According to a statement sent to booked passengers, the revised itinerary will feature two visits to Perfect Day at CocoCay, alongside a previously scheduled stop in Nassau. “To provide you with the best experience, we’ve added an additional visit to Perfect Day at CocoCay, and we’re so excited to visit this destination with you twice,” the company said in the letter.

The additional stop at Perfect Day at CocoCay replaces a previously planned day at sea. To accommodate this change, the visit to Nassau has been rescheduled for the third day of the cruise.

“We’ve also added an extra hour for you to explore everything there is to do in this beautiful destination,” the company mentioned regarding Nassau.

The statement highlighted CocoCay’s features, including overwater cabanas and the largest freshwater swimming pool in the Caribbean. Other attractions include one of North America's tallest waterslides and an adventure water park.

After being delivered by the Chantiers de l’Atlantique shipyard in June, the new Utopia of the Seas will enter service for Royal Caribbean on July 19, 2024. As part of the company’s Oasis class, the 5,714-guest vessel will offer a year-round schedule of short cruises to the Bahamas.

Most of these three- and four-night itineraries will depart from Port Canaveral and include visits to both Nassau and Perfect Day at CocoCay.
