German shipping company Hapag-Lloyd has made adjustments to its Europe East Coast Express (ECX) service.
Starting from mid-April and until further notice, ships operating on the ECX service will no longer call at the port of Navegantes in Brazil.
In response, Hapag-Lloyd will introduce a weekly feeder service connecting Navegantes and Rio de Janeiro to facilitate the movement of import and export cargo between these locations.
The feeder service will follow this port rotation: Navegantes, Brazil to Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, and back to Navegantes.
