COSCO Shipping has introduced its new Mexico Express Service (WSA5), linking major Mexican Pacific ports such as Ensenada, Manzanillo, and Lázaro Cárdenas with prominent Far East ports including Busan, Dalian, Ningbo, Shanghai, and Qingdao.

The Chinese shipping company will provide 3,000-5,000 TEU slots per journey. Currently, COSCO SHIPPING operates 12 liner routes that serve Mexico, with a total capacity exceeding 220,000 TEUs.

"By leveraging seamless intermodal connections, we provide more reliable and stable 'container shipping + port + related logistics' full supply chain solutions for global clients," the company stated.

COSCO has also signed Memorandums of Understanding (MoUs) with Hisense and Hutchison Ports to enhance fully digital supply chain cooperation, marking a significant milestone in its business expansion in Mexico.
