Virgin Voyages Unveils New Entertainment for Brilliant Lady

Virgin Voyages is set to introduce a revamped entertainment experience aboard its newest ship, Brilliant Lady, featuring seven original productions, expanded live music, immersive experiences, and an enhanced comedy lineup. The new offerings aim to elevate the onboard experience for both first-time and returning guests.
During a live-stream event, Virgin Voyages’ CEO, chief marketing officer, and vice president of entertainment announced that the ship’s entertainment will combine new theatrical performances with updated fan-favorite productions, further enriching the cruise line’s entertainment portfolio.
At the core of Brilliant Lady’s entertainment is The Red Room, where guests can experience Red Hot, a dynamic musical revue celebrating Virgin’s 50-year history with iconic hits from Virgin Records. Another highlight, Out of Time, is a time-traveling comedy created in partnership with No Ceilings, blending music, fashion, and acrobatics into an electrifying performance.
Meanwhile, The Manor, the ship’s two-level performance venue, will debut five new productions:
- Up with a Twist – A supper club experience featuring live music and interactive audience-driven endings.
- Murder in the Manor – A true-crime mystery show inspired by 1980s thrillers, where guests play a role in solving a rockstar’s murder.
- Duets – A musical showcase spanning generations, blending jazz-infused Motown, rock, and pop ballads.
- Electric – A high-energy dance party with neon face paint, UV-reactive costumes, and a jellyfish parade.
- Disco Reimagined – A 90-minute spectacle filled with acrobatics, sequins, dance breaks, and circus acts.
Virgin Voyages' signature event, Scarlet Night, will return with a newly reimagined format. On Alaska sailings, the celebration of the octopus goddess will shift indoors to The Red Room, transforming the venue into a vibrant space reminiscent of its iconic outdoor festival atmosphere.
The acclaimed show Duel Reality—an acrobatic reinterpretation of Romeo and Juliet—will also make a return. The production made history in 2024 as the first cruise performance to transition to a land-based theater, premiering in Boston.
With these bold new additions, Brilliant Lady is set to deliver a one-of-a-kind entertainment experience, reinforcing Virgin Voyages’ reputation for cutting-edge, immersive onboard productions.
