Carnival Cruise Line has announced an expansion of its cruise options from Galveston, Texas, and Jacksonville, Florida, with new itineraries available through spring 2027, according to a recent press release.

These new sailings offer guests more opportunities to explore destinations in Mexico, the Bahamas, and the Caribbean.

One of the key additions is the 16-day Carnival Miracle repositioning cruise, part of the Carnival Journeys program. Departing from Seattle on September 26, 2026, after the ship’s Alaska season, the voyage will travel to Galveston with a Panama Canal transit, stopping in Cabo San Lucas, Mexico, and Puntarenas, Costa Rica.

Upon reaching Galveston, the Miracle will offer a variety of cruises in late 2026 and 2027, including four-day getaways to Cozumel, five-day trips to Progreso and Yucatán, and 10-day voyages to both the Eastern and Western Caribbean.

Destinations on these itineraries will include Celebration Key and Half Moon Cay in the Bahamas, as well as Grand Turk and Amber Cove. Certain itineraries will also visit Belize, Mahogany Bay, and Montego Bay, with some options offering excursions to the Panama Canal from Colon, Panama.

Meanwhile, from Jacksonville, the Carnival Elation will continue offering year-round cruises to the Bahamas. These trips range from four- to five-day itineraries, departing on Thursdays and Saturdays, with stops at Celebration Key, Nassau, and Bimini. Some five-day voyages will also include visits to Half Moon Cay or Princess Cays.
