According to brokerage reports, Swire Bulk from Singapore has recently sold its two oldest vessels.

Renowned for having one of the youngest fleets among significant bulk carrier owners, Swire Bulk has completed the sale of the Lintan and Liangchow. These ships, each with a deadweight tonnage (dwt) of 39,800 and constructed in China in 2015, were sold together in a package deal to Global Meridian for a combined price of $41 million.

This sale follows Swire Bulk's transaction last October, where it sold three open-hatch bulk carriers, also built in 2015, for approximately $60 million.
