The Port of San Diego has officially begun its 2024-25 cruise season, continuing its long-standing partnership with Holland America Line.

This season will see 75 cruise departures and is expected to bring 265,000 travelers to the San Diego area by the time it wraps up in the spring.

"We are excited to begin our cruise season in San Diego with our trusted homeport partner, Holland America," stated Sid Voorakkara, Commissioner of the Port of San Diego Board of Port Commissioners. "Together, we'll provide travelers with unforgettable experiences while highlighting the scenic beauty of San Diego Bay. On behalf of the Port, I extend a warm welcome to both new and returning visitors making stops in San Diego this season."

Beth Bodensteiner, Chief Commercial Officer at Holland America Line, added, "We love sailing from San Diego and are excited to kick off the 2024/2025 cruise season. From today onward, our guests can explore destinations such as the Pacific Coast, Mexico, the Panama Canal, Hawaii, and even the South Pacific. Plus, each time a ship docks here, our guests and crew spend nearly $378,000 in the local area—contributing around $11.3 million to the economy this season alone."

This year’s schedule features long-time collaborators like Holland America Line and Disney Cruise Line, along with Princess Cruises, Viking Cruises, and Silversea Cruises. Making their first appearances in San Diego this season are the Viking Neptune and Viking Sea.
