Several brokerage reports highlight that Regional Container Lines (RCL), a Thai shipping company, has ventured to southern China for the procurement of four 4,400 TEU vessels from Guangzhou Wenchong. The cost per vessel is set at $56.6 million, and the expected delivery timeline is in 2027.
Established back in 1979, RCL has been a part of the Thai Stock Exchange since 1988. According to Alphaliner, it holds the 23rd spot among the globe's largest container lines, maintaining a fleet of just over 77,000 slots.
