The Prax Group of Companies company Harvest Energy Marine has announced the acquisition of the Fortuna II, a brand-new tanker. The vessel expands Harvest Energy Marine's distribution infrastructure in UK and northwest European seas by joining the company's current fleet.

“I am delighted to announce the purchase of Fortuna II, to meet the ever-changing needs of our customers right across the UK and northwestern Europe.  We are firmly committed to continuing to build a robust and reliable supply chain to meet those needs, in order to deliver innovative solutions to reduce refueling times at a competitive price, whilst simultaneously providing our customers with their most important resource,” said General Manager of Harvest Energy Marine Geert Boden.

The 1,700 metric tonnes, 68-meter Fortuna II will take advantage of the Prax Group's well-established supply and storage network in the UK and continental Europe. This shows the Group's dedication to meeting the needs of customers seeking quick and effective delivery of bunker fuels. The vessel is equipped to provide bunkering services at ports all along the UK coast as well as in northwest Europe. It can transport marine gas oil and very low sulfur fuel oil (VLSFO).
