Norwegian Cruise Line has announced the cancellation of 38 sailings across three of its ships, according to a statement shared with travel advisors. The affected cruises were scheduled to take place between November 2025 and April 2026 aboard the Norwegian Jewel, Norwegian Star, and Norwegian Dawn.

For the Norwegian Jewel, all itineraries departing between November 23, 2025, and April 5, 2026, have been cancelled. These included 16 five- to 14-night cruises to the Caribbean and the Bahamas, all sailing from Tampa.

The Norwegian Star has also had its entire South America and Antarctica season cancelled. This impacts 11 cruises scheduled between November 20, 2025, and April 14, 2026.

Additionally, the Norwegian Dawn has seen all sailings between November 2, 2025, and April 12, 2026, cancelled. During this period, the ship was slated to operate 11 cruises across Africa, Asia, and the Indian Ocean, with stops in Southeast Asia, the Middle East, and other regions.

Norwegian has yet to announce replacement itineraries for the cancelled sailings. The company stated that affected passengers will be notified soon and will receive full refunds to the original form of payment.

Commissions will be protected for fully paid bookings, and guests will also receive a 10% Future Cruise Credit (FCC) as compensation.

In addition to these cancellations, Norwegian has also modified itineraries for two other ships. The Norwegian Sun's 14-night South Pacific sailing, departing August 7, 2025, has been cancelled due to fleet redeployment. Similarly, two cruises aboard the Norwegian Getaway—scheduled for August 17 and August 21, 2026—have been cancelled because the ship has been chartered.

These changes reflect ongoing adjustments in Norwegian Cruise Line's fleet deployment plans, with further details expected to follow.
