MSC has announced the launch of the “North Peru Feeder,” a new dedicated feeder service from Salaverry and Paita in Peru. This service aims to provide increased port connections and faster transit times to Europe, the United States, and the Far East.

"By offering greater access from Salaverry’s hinterland, the North Peru Feeder service will also provide time savings and mitigation of logistics risks for Peruvian customers," said MSC in a statement.

"This will particularly benefit the fruit and vegetables industry, including producers of blueberries and avocados, as well as dry commodities."

MSC's new regular service will commence with the sailing of the MSC Montserrat, starting from the port of Salaverry on June 6.

The port rotation for the North Peru Feeder will be Rodman (Panama) – Buenaventura (Colombia) – Paita (Peru) – Salaverry (Peru) – Rodman.
