French maritime transport company CMA CGM has updated its local port fees for Indonesia, effective from March 15, 2024 (based on the loading date at the origin ports), until an unspecified date, with these changes remaining in place until April 10, 2024, for shipments destined for the United States.

This adjustment in fees, as reported to Container News by the Marseille-headquartered firm, will be applied specifically at the Indonesian ports of Jakarta and Belawan.

The revised fees will be applicable to both inbound and outbound shipments across all cargo types.

The revised fees will be $15 for 20-foot containers, $20 for 40-foot containers, and $25 for 45-foot containers.
