Earlier in March, COSCO SHIPPING made headlines by entering into two significant cooperation agreements in Shanghai.

On March 18th, COSCO SHIPPING and CITIC Group, a vast multinational conglomerate with a focus on both financial services and industrial development, finalized a strategic cooperation agreement.

This partnership is set to explore new developmental concepts in line with the latest phase of growth, covering a wide range of areas including integrated finance, maritime logistics, equipment manufacturing, digitalization, and expanding into international markets.

Prior to this, on March 15th, COSCO SHIPPING established a strategic partnership with Shanghai Electric Group, a leading company in the field of industrial green intelligent systems.

The agreement outlines a broad cooperation between the two entities, focusing on areas such as sustainable fuels including green methanol, maritime and logistics operations, marine equipment, ship maintenance, and digital innovation efforts.

The collaboration is designed to enhance the quality and efficiency of the products and services offered by both groups, aiming to achieve their strategic objectives through mutual support.
