Today, the Carnival Spirit departs from Seattle on the first of three consecutive Carnival Journeys voyages.

Carnival Cruise Line describes these special sailings as longer itineraries that explore less-traveled routes. Offering a “classic cruising feel,” these journeys provide guests with enriching onboard experiences while visiting unique destinations.

The Carnival Spirit kicks off the series with a 14-night cruise to Alaska and Canada, visiting ten destinations such as Icy Strait Point, Ketchikan, Juneau, Victoria, and Skagway. The trip also includes scenic cruising through the Tracy Arm Fjord and Hubbard Glacier, along with stops at less common ports like Sitka, Valdez, and Seward.

Upon returning to Seattle on September 24, 2024, the ship embarks on a 15-night voyage to the Hawaiian Islands. Ports of call include Honolulu, Nawiliwili, Kahului, and Hilo, as well as Victoria in Canada. The cruise will feature nine days of sailing across the Pacific Ocean.

Following this, the Carnival Spirit will sail on a 16-night Panama Canal cruise, departing from Seattle to New Orleans on October 9, 2024. This itinerary includes stops in Cabo San Lucas, Mexico, and Puntarenas, Costa Rica, before the ship crosses the Panama Canal and visits Cartagena de Indias, Colombia.

After arriving in New Orleans, the Carnival Spirit will move to Mobile to begin its winter season in the Caribbean, offering a series of six- and eight-night voyages to various Bahamian destinations.
