Carnival Dream Sets Sail on 14-Night Eastern Caribbean Voyage
Earlier this month, the Carnival Dream departed from Galveston on a 14-night cruise to the Eastern Caribbean and Florida. The voyage is part of Carnival Cruise Line’s Carnival Journeys program, known for offering special itineraries that include unique destinations.
The two-week journey features stops at nine different locations, some of which are rarely included on the company's regular routes. These destinations include St. Croix and St. Kitts, as well as Key West in Florida, Grand Turk in the Turks and Caicos, San Juan in Puerto Rico, St. Thomas in the U.S. Virgin Islands, Philipsburg in St. Maarten, and Ocho Rios, Jamaica.
Carnival's Journeys sailings are crafted to "take vacations further," featuring curated destinations and lesser-traveled routes. The cruises not only explore unique ports of call but also offer enriching onboard experiences that blend a touch of classic cruising with added flair.
Sailing year-round from Galveston, the Carnival Dream is scheduled to continue offering similar Eastern Caribbean itineraries in 2025, as part of the Carnival Journeys program. These 14-night cruises will set sail from Texas in mid-January and late October.
The same itinerary is planned for 2026, with departures slated for January and October. In addition to these longer voyages, the Dream's regular schedule includes a variety of six- and eight-night cruises to the Bahamas and the Western Caribbean, featuring stops at places like Key West, Freeport, Nassau, Half Moon Cay, Cozumel, Costa Maya, and Belize City.
For the 2024-25 season, Carnival's lineup from Galveston also includes the Carnival Jubilee, which was launched in 2023 and offers seven-night cruises to the Western Caribbean. Other ships sailing from Texas during this period will be the Carnival Breeze and Carnival Miracle, providing four- to 12-night cruises to various destinations across the Caribbean, the Bahamas, and Central America.
