Royal Caribbean International's Anthem of the Seas is en route to Singapore, where it will begin its debut season in Southeast Asia.

Following its summer deployment in Northern Europe, the ship, built in 2015, started a repositioning voyage earlier this month.

Initially, the first part of the journey was canceled due to safety concerns in the Red Sea region. Now, the Anthem of the Seas is sailing around Africa without passengers on board.

After a technical stop in Las Palmas in the Canary Islands, the ship is expected to reach Dubai before November 7, 2024.

On that date, Anthem will commence a 14-night cruise from Dubai to Singapore, with stops in India, Malaysia, and Thailand.

Once it arrives in Singapore, the Quantum-class ship will offer a variety of three- to five-night cruises to destinations across Southeast Asia.

Departing from the Marina Bay Cruise Terminal, these trips will take passengers to places such as Penang in Malaysia and Phuket in Thailand.

For those seeking longer adventures, the season will include extended cruises. One highlight is a ten-night voyage in January 2025 that visits both Vietnam and Thailand, including an overnight stay in Laem Chabang, with additional stops in Da Nang, Bangkok, Nha Trang, and Ho Chi Minh City.

In February 2025, Anthem will offer an eight-night cruise to Indonesia, featuring stops in Celukan Bawang, Bali, and Lombok.

Following its Southeast Asia season, Anthem of the Seas will reposition to Alaska in mid-April 2025.

The first leg of this trans-Pacific journey will be a 12-night cruise to Japan, with stops in Vietnam, Taiwan, Hong Kong, and South Korea.

The ship will then embark on a 15-night cruise that includes visits to Japan and the U.S., finally arriving in Seattle in early May 2025 to begin its summer season in Alaska and Canada.
