Carnival Cruise Line has revealed its deployment plans for the 2026-27 season, highlighting new summer 2026 itineraries to European and Alaskan destinations, as well as a special solar eclipse cruise. Bookings for these voyages will be available starting Tuesday, August 20, as stated in a recent press release.

For the first time, Carnival will offer an 11-day Carnival Journeys Eclipse cruise on the Carnival Legend, departing from Dover, England, on August 9, 2026. This voyage will visit Spain, Portugal, and France, offering passengers a unique chance to witness the total solar eclipse on August 12, 2026.

The itinerary includes stops at Le Havre (Paris), St. Peter Port (Guernsey), Vigo (Spain), Lisbon and Leixões (Porto), Le Verdon (Bordeaux), and Zeebrugge (Brussels).

Christine Duffy, president of Carnival Cruise Line, remarked, “The chance to see a total solar eclipse while having fun exploring the cultural richness of Spain, Portugal and France aboard Carnival Legend, is a truly special opportunity – among a lineup of many phenomenal cruises.”

She added that the strong demand for Carnival Legend’s 2024 European sailings indicates that it’s never too early for loyal guests to start planning their next summer vacation.

The Carnival Legend will begin its 2026 European season with a 14-day transatlantic cruise from Miami on May 24, 2026, visiting Liverpool, Holyhead, and Dun Laoghaire before arriving in Dover. While stationed in Europe, the ship will offer nine cruises from Dover, ranging from nine to 12 days, and six cruises of similar duration from Civitavecchia.

Departing from Dover, the itineraries will explore Northern Europe, including destinations like Copenhagen, Amsterdam, and various British Isles ports, with a special cruise to Iceland. The Scandinavia and Baltic routes will visit countries such as Germany, Estonia, Finland, Sweden, Denmark, and Belgium, while Western Europe cruises will focus on Portugal, Spain, and France.

From Civitavecchia, the ship will offer nine-day and 12-day cruises featuring Italy, the Greek Isles, Turkey, and Croatia, with ports of call including Istanbul, Athens, Mykonos, Naples, Split, and Dubrovnik. The season will conclude with a 14-day Carnival Journeys voyage from Civitavecchia to Tampa on November 1, 2026, visiting Cartagena, Malaga, Gibraltar, and Bermuda.

In the summer of 2026, the Carnival Miracle will join the Carnival Spirit in offering sailings from Seattle to Alaska. Current itineraries are available for Seattle departures only, with plans for Alaska cruises departing from San Francisco to be announced this fall.

The Carnival Miracle will begin weekly seven-day Alaska cruises from Seattle on May 7, 2026, with visits to Tracy Arm Fjord, Skagway, Juneau, Ketchikan, and Victoria. Additionally, the ship will offer two Carnival Journeys cruises: a nine-day voyage to Sitka and a ten-day voyage including Icy Strait Point.

Carnival Spirit’s Alaska season will start on April 28, 2026, featuring similar ports. Beginning September 23, 2026, the ship will embark on a 15-day round-trip cruise to Hawaii, with stops in Honolulu, Nawiliwili, Kahului, Hilo, and Victoria.

Moreover, four Carnival Journeys cruises will reposition the Carnival Miracle and Carnival Spirit via the Panama Canal. These 16-day cruises will connect Seattle and Mobile, Alabama, with stops in Cabo San Lucas, Puntarenas, and Cartagena. The Carnival Miracle will reposition from Tampa on April 11, 2026, and return to Galveston from Seattle on September 26, 2026.
