Carnival Cruise Line has announced a limited cruise season from Melbourne in early 2027, as revealed in a recent social media update.

The Carnival Adventure, which will join the company’s fleet in March 2025, is set to arrive at its Melbourne homeport in late March 2027, offering a series of two- to six-night voyages.

The ship’s first departure from Melbourne is a six-night cruise beginning on March 24, 2027. The itinerary includes stops at Port Lincoln, Kangaroo Island, and Adelaide, along with two days at sea.

Following this voyage, the Carnival Adventure will operate two four-night sailings to Kangaroo Island, departing on March 30 and April 3, 2027.

Once the Melbourne season concludes, the vessel will set sail on a two-night repositioning journey to Sydney.

Starting April 9, 2027, the ship will return to its regular schedule of two- to 12-night cruises departing from Sydney.

Before reaching Melbourne, the Adventure is scheduled to complete Carnival’s first-ever roundtrip cruise from Singapore. This nine-night voyage will explore Southeast Asia, including stops in Thailand, Bangkok, and Vietnam, in late February 2027.

Following this, the ship embarks on a 17-day repositioning cruise from Singapore to Melbourne, departing on March 8, 2027. This one-way itinerary includes stops at Port Klang and Langkawi in Malaysia, Benoa in Indonesia, as well as Fremantle and Albany in Australia.

Carnival has confirmed that bookings for these sailings will be available through P&O Cruises Australia’s website until March 10, 2025. After this date, reservations will transition to Carnival Cruise Line’s Australia website.

Originally built for Princess Cruises in 2001, the Carnival Adventure currently sails as the Pacific Adventure. Weighing in at 110,000 tons, the ship is set to officially transfer to Carnival Cruise Line’s fleet in March 2025, alongside its sister vessel, the Pacific Encounter.
