Disney Cruise Line has announced the cancellation of several Disney Fantasy sailings due to a change in the ship’s drydock schedule.

In a statement to impacted guests, Disney confirmed that cruises scheduled between October 20 and November 12, 2025, will no longer take place.

“Our Disney Cruise Line ships undergo a drydock every few years for needed maintenance and refurbishment,” the company explained. “Due to an unplanned change in the scheduled drydock dates for the Disney Fantasy, your sailing is no longer available.”

The cancellations include a trans-Atlantic voyage originally set to depart from Southampton on October 20, 2025, for a 13-night repositioning trip to Port Canaveral. Additionally, three shorter Bahamas cruises from Port Canaveral, scheduled for November 2, November 7, and November 12, 2025, are also canceled.

Disney assured guests that any funds used for the reservations will be refunded to their original payment methods.

“We sincerely apologize for any disappointment it may cause and welcome the opportunity to assist you in rescheduling your sailing around the same timeframe,” the statement added.

As compensation, affected guests will receive a 20 percent discount on a future cruise fare. To redeem the discount, travelers must reference the reservation number of their canceled sailing when booking a new cruise departing before February 6, 2027.

Disney also shared plans for the Disney Fantasy to offer a revised trans-Atlantic crossing at a different date, with details to be announced in February.

Guests can explore alternative options, including Bahamas sailings from Port Canaveral and Fort Lauderdale, as well as cruises from Southampton.

“We truly appreciate your understanding regarding this necessary cancellation and hope that you will sail with us again soon,” Disney said.
