The Blystad Group's Songa Commander, a platform supply vessel, has found a new role working for Shell in the UK North Sea.

Reports from brokers indicate that the vessel, built in 2010 and managed by Remøy Shipping, has been contracted for a year at a daily rate of £25,500 ($32,600).

Norwegian shipowner and investor Arne Blystad acquired the 4,900 deadweight tonnage (dwt) ship from Havila Shipping in November of the previous year.
