Abu Dhabi Unveils Cruise Crew Pass for Visiting Crew Members

The Department of Culture and Tourism – Abu Dhabi (DCT Abu Dhabi) has launched the Cruise Crew Pass, a special program designed to offer discounts to cruise ship crew members visiting the Arabian Gulf. For just $1, crew members gain access to exclusive deals on shopping, dining, and attractions across Abu Dhabi, encouraging them to explore the emirate.

With 147 cruise calls planned this season, the pass can be used multiple times by crew members during repeat visits. Crew can activate their discounts through a unique invitation code available via the Abu Dhabi Pass App.

“We’re thrilled to offer crew members the opportunity to experience Abu Dhabi’s vibrant retail, culinary, and leisure scenes through the Cruise Crew Pass,” said Abdullah Yousuf, Director of International Operations at DCT Abu Dhabi.

Developed in partnership with Alike, a global social travel marketplace, the initiative also includes a collaboration with 7X. This partnership addresses logistical needs for crew members by providing a dedicated address near the Abu Dhabi Cruise Terminal for receiving online shopping orders.
