835th Anniversary Celebrations for Port of Hamburg

Hamburg Port marked its 835th anniversary by welcoming 1.5 million visitors and hosting a spectacular light and music show on the AIDAprima on Saturday evening.

The event, sponsored by AIDA Cruises for the tenth consecutive year, included a special promotional area at Platz der Deutschen Einheit near the Elbphilharmonie Hamburg.

Guests had the chance to unwind with music and various culinary offerings. The entertainment highlight was a DJ set by Kayef and DJ Alle Farben, performed from a floating pontoon stage in front of the ship, which was illuminated by approximately 300 light drones.

Throughout the celebratory weekend, three AIDA Cruises ships made their way to Hamburg: the AIDAperla on May 10, AIDAprima on May 11, and AIDAsol on May 13.
