Royal Caribbean International has notified guests booked on the Aug. 16, 2025, sailing of Adventure of the Seas about a berthing conflict at Perfect Day at CocoCay that has led to an itinerary change.

The six-night Western Caribbean cruise departing from Port Canaveral was originally set to visit Jamaica, Haiti, and the Bahamas. However, due to scheduling issues at Perfect Day at CocoCay, the itinerary has been modified to include George Town, Grand Cayman instead.

"Due to a berthing conflict at Perfect Day at CocoCay, we’ve adjusted our itinerary, and we’ll now visit George Town, Grand Cayman," Royal Caribbean stated in a message to booked guests.

"While we know it’s not the itinerary we planned, we’re excited to explore this new destination together," the company added.

Onboard Credit Compensation

To make up for the change, Royal Caribbean is providing onboard credit per stateroom:

  • $50 for interior and oceanview cabins
  • $75 for balcony staterooms
  • $100 for suites
  • An extra $25 for each third or additional guest in a room

Tendering & Accessibility in Grand Cayman

Guests should be aware that Adventure of the Seas will use tenders to reach George Town.

  • Passengers with collapsible wheelchairs who can take a few steps will have access to the tenders.
  • Guests who use mobility scooters or non-collapsible wheelchairs and cannot take a few steps may not be able to go ashore.

"We are sorry for any impact to your vacation," Royal Caribbean stated.

Updated Itinerary

The six-night voyage now includes stops at:

  • Falmouth, Jamaica
  • Labadee, Haiti (Royal Caribbean’s private destination)
  • George Town, Grand Cayman (Replacing Perfect Day at CocoCay)

Adventure of the Seas sails year-round from Port Canaveral, offering itineraries ranging from six to ten nights across the Western, Southern, and Eastern Caribbean.
