PSV Deal for Vår Energi and Rem offshore

Rem Offshore, a Norwegian company specializing in offshore vessels, has secured a contract from Vår Energi for the use of its platform supply vessel, the Rem Arctic. The agreement, set to commence in July 2024, is for a period of one year with a daily rate of NOK310,000 (approximately $29,800). The deal also includes several options for extension, as reported by Norwegian brokerage firms.

Previously, in 2021, Vår Energi had also contracted the Rem Arctic, which was constructed in 2015, for a year, with the possibility of extending the contract through four six-month increments.

Additionally, the Rem Arctic is scheduled to undertake supply operations for Well Expertise, a fellow Norwegian company specializing in well management, covering at least two wells starting this month. These operations will be conducted at the same financial terms as the new contract.
