In comparison, Royal Caribbean Group reported gross onboard spend per passenger per day at $92.44 and net $74.00 for the second quarter of 2024, up from $69.67 and $54.27, respectively, in 2019.

Similarly, Carnival Corporation saw gross onboard spend per passenger per day estimated at $83.41 and net $57.57 for its second quarter ending May 31, 2024, compared to $66.25 and $44.97, respectively, in 2019.

While Viking has yet to report its second quarter 2024 results, the company, known for its more inclusive offerings, posted a gross onboard spend of $50.95 for the first quarter of 2024.

At press time, Bonheur ASA (Fred. Olsen Cruise Lines) and the Walt Disney Company (Disney Cruise Line) have not provided sufficiently detailed numbers to estimate their onboard spend.
