Norwegian Cruise Line’s Norwegian Prima has returned to the Mediterranean for a fall season after spending the summer in Northern Europe. The 2022-built ship will offer a series of short cruises in Southern Europe before heading to New York City.

The fall season features 10- and 12-night itineraries, taking passengers through both the Western and Eastern Mediterranean. Departing from Southampton and Civitavecchia, the cruises will visit various destinations in Portugal, Spain, France, Italy, Greece, and Malta.

Ports of call include Catania, providing access to Taormina in Sicily, and Katakolon, a gateway to the site of the ancient Olympic Games. Other highlights include stops in Santorini, Mykonos, Valletta, Messina, and Naples.

On November 7, 2024, the Norwegian Prima will begin a 16-night trans-Atlantic repositioning voyage to North America in preparation for its winter Caribbean season. This crossing will sail from Civitavecchia to New York City, with stops in Italy, France, Spain, and Portugal.

After a seven-night Bermuda cruise, the ship will embark on a series of 10- to 15-night Caribbean itineraries departing from Manhattan Cruise Terminal. In mid-January, Norwegian Prima will reposition to Galveston, Texas, where it will offer seven- and 14-night Caribbean and Bahamas cruises.

In 2025, the vessel will return to Northern Europe for its fourth summer season, operating itineraries from mid-May to late October that explore the North Sea, Iceland, Scandinavia, and the Baltic Sea.

As the lead ship in Norwegian’s Prima class, the Norwegian Prima was built at the Fincantieri shipyard in Italy and entered service in 2022. It was followed by Norwegian Viva in 2023, with Norwegian Aqua set to debut in 2025 and Norwegian Luna in 2026.
