A newly established container shipping company based in Shanghai, STF Shipping, has started offering services throughout northeast Asia.

The company has launched three container routes connecting China with South Korea and Russia’s Far East, taking over operations previously managed by Dubai-based CStar Line. CStar withdrew from these routes in August.

STF Shipping currently operates six vessels, with capacities ranging from 1,100 to 2,200 TEU. The company is also planning to expand its service network to include Southeast Asia in the near future.
