Mike Horn & Explora Partner for Canary Island Adventures

Explora Journeys has unveiled two unique Destination Experiences led by their brand ambassador, the explorer Mike Horn.

Passengers aboard the Explora I, sailing from November 10-20, 2024, will have the opportunity to participate in these exclusive experiences with Mike Horn, exploring Spain’s Lanzarote and La Palma islands.

The two Destination Experiences are:

Adventures with Mike Horn: Hike Lanzarote’s Haría Extreme Wild Trail:

Guests will join Mike Horn on a hike along the Haría Extreme ultra-marathon trail, starting in Famara. This route offers stunning island views as it follows the Camino de Los Gracioseros to Haría village. After dining at Tacande restaurant, guests can stroll through the charming streets of Haría.

Adventures with Mike Horn: Explore La Palma’s Wild Beauty and Piratical Past by Land and Sea:

This experience allows guests to explore La Palma’s rugged beauty and rich history alongside Mike Horn. Starting in Tijarafe, participants will hike through lush subtropical landscapes to Porís de Candelaria, a hidden village perched at the cliff’s edge. The adventure also includes a visit to the Cueva Bonita, a sea cave often referred to as the 'Atlantic Sistine Chapel'.

During the cruise, Horn will share stories of his explorations in onboard talks and offer insights into mental and physical preparation during workout sessions.

The Explora I will embark on a roundtrip voyage from Barcelona, making stops in Cadiz, the Canary Islands, and Gibraltar.
