Holland America Line is bringing festive cheer to its fleet with themed food and drink offerings for the holiday season, according to a recent announcement.

Passengers can look forward to celebratory meals for Thanksgiving, Christmas, Hanukkah, and New Year’s Eve. Highlights include a traditional Thanksgiving dinner, “Breakfast with Santa,” feasts on Christmas Eve and Christmas Day, and special Hanukkah delicacies.

The Christmas Eve menu will feature dishes inspired by global cuisines, reflecting the various cultures of the destinations Holland America visits.

“Sailing with Holland America for the holidays offers a fun and stress-free way to celebrate,” said Michael Stendebach, vice president of food, beverage, and rooms division for the cruise line. “Not only do our onboard dining experiences simplify holiday planning, but they provide a rich and diverse culinary journey with a touch of a tradition that fosters deeper connections with loved ones and makes it a special time on board.”

For Thanksgiving, guests can enjoy a classic holiday meal with dishes like turkey with cranberries and sweet potatoes, Beef Tenderloin with Apple Rösti, Honey-Baked Ham, and Mushroom Ravioli with Sage.

Additionally, Holland America's Global Fresh Fish Ambassador, Chef Masaharu Morimoto, will offer two new seafood dishes for an extra charge.

Throughout December, a Nutcracker Afternoon Tea Service will be available on select sea days, offering seasonal delights like a Grinch truffle, Santa Hat cupcake, and Reindeer Chocolate tart.

Families cruising in the Caribbean can join “Breakfast with Santa” at Pinnacle Grill or Tamarind on select ships, complete with crafts, Christmas music, and photo opportunities. Christmas Eve and Christmas Day meals will be served in both the Dining Room and Canaletto.

To celebrate Hanukkah, passengers can enjoy strawberry jelly-filled doughnuts at Lido Market, as well as fresh challah bread and crispy potato latkes with applesauce and sour cream.

For New Year’s Eve, Holland America will host a special dinner in the Dining Room or at Pinnacle Grill for $69 per person, featuring dishes like a Colossal Crab Tower with Caviar, Sterling Beef Fillet with Butter-basted Lobster, and a Chocolate Countdown dessert. The festivities will continue with a midnight party on the Lido Deck.

Guests can also purchase a New Year’s Eve VIP Beverage Package, which includes a reserved booth, butler service, and appetizers. New Year’s Day will be marked with a complimentary brunch in the Dining Room or a special brunch at Pinnacle Grill for $25 per person.
