Extensions for Vessel Trio from Petronas Carigali Secured by Dayang
Dayang Enterprise of Malaysia has successfully secured additional work for three of its accommodation workboats from fellow Malaysian company Petronas Carigali.
DESB Marine Services, a subsidiary wholly owned by Dayang, has been granted extensions for all three vessels.
As per a disclosure made to Bursa Malaysia, the contracts' value extension is contingent upon work orders issued by PCSB throughout the extended periods, with work already in progress under these extensions.
Petronas Carigali has chosen to retain the Dayang Zamrud vessel for an additional 279 days, extending the initial contract which commenced in February 2023 for 214 days, with an option to prolong it by up to 60 days.
The Dayang Pertama vessel has also been granted an extension, now lasting 296 days, continuing the agreement initiated in March 2023 for 129 days, with an optional extension of 60 days.
Similarly, the Dayang Berlian contract has been prolonged for 281 days, compared to the initial agreement for approximately 207 days from February 17, 2023, with an option to extend for up to 90 days.
In addition to these extensions, Dayang recently secured an extension for a work scope contract from Petronas, encompassing maintenance, construction, and modification services offshore Malaysia and the Sarawak Gas Area. This contract extension, renewed last month, is slated to remain in effect until the end of the year.
