Disney Cruise Line has announced an array of new themed spaces and experiences on its upcoming ship, the Disney Destiny. These new offerings will draw inspiration from beloved Disney, Pixar, and Marvel characters, bringing to life the classic tales that define these worlds.

According to Disney Cruise Line, the Disney Destiny will embody the essence of iconic Disney stories, highlighting the contrasts of light and dark that shape character destinies. The ship will feature themed venues and entertainment areas, including new lounges inspired by Cruella de Vil and Pirates of the Caribbean.

“The Disney Destiny is all about celebrating the bold, charismatic and driven characters at the heart of our favorite stories,” said Sharon Siskie, senior vice president and general manager of Disney Cruise Line.

“And who are our beloved heroes without the antagonists who challenge them to prevail? We want our guests to have fun with the unique theme of this ship, and we are having a blast creating spaces and entertainment experiences that pay tribute to the villains, anti-heroes and mischief makers who have captivated Disney film and theme park audiences for generations.”

One of the new spaces, De Vil’s piano lounge, is inspired by Cruella de Vil from "One Hundred and One Dalmatians." This lounge features a Hollywood Regency design with Cruella's signature color palette of red, black, and white, offering guests martinis, chic cocktails, and wines accompanied by piano music.

Another themed venue, Cask and Cannon, immerses guests in the world of "Pirates of the Caribbean." Decorated with pirate "acquired" treasures, this pub offers a selection of rare, specialty, and vintage rums, as well as exclusive brews served straight from the barrel, while guests can enjoy live sports broadcasts.

The Disney Destiny will also feature "Sing a Silly Song," a new AquaMouse attraction, which is a 760-foot-long water ride showcasing Disney Animation villains. The ride includes an original soundtrack composed by Emmy composer Christopher Willis and lyricist Elyse Willis.

Guests will have opportunities to enjoy shows, meet-and-greets, and special appearances by Disney villains such as Maleficent, Hades, and Cruella de Vil. Exclusive events, including Oogie Boogie's dance party and a Disney trivia event, will offer interactive experiences with these iconic characters.

Additionally, the Haunted Mansion Parlor, set to debut on the Disney Treasure in late 2024, will offer guests cocktails inspired by the story, with themed souvenirs available for purchase aboard the ship.
