Century River Cruises is expanding its river fleet in China with the addition of a sixth ship, the Century Voyage, set to enter service on the Yangtze River in September 2024.

According to a press release, the Century Voyage features 236 staterooms and is designed to blend Western comfort with Chinese hospitality.

The new riverboat boasts a spacious layout and incorporates sustainable technologies, including electronic propulsion and low-emission systems. The vessel is also engineered to minimize vibration and noise, meeting the highest standards of the China Classification Society (CCS).

Measuring 150 meters in length and 21 meters in width, the Century Voyage is optimized for both onboard features and smooth navigation. Each cabin offers over 26 square meters of space and includes private balconies, with staterooms positioned forward and public areas located aft.

Highlights of the common areas include the two-story Sisi Lounge, which offers panoramic views from the front of the ship. The onboard experience caters to diverse tastes by blending Western expectations with authentic Chinese touches. Guests can enjoy freshly made local cuisine prepared by international chefs, as well as customized entertainment and cultural activities.

Century River Cruises, with a history spanning three decades, currently operates five ships on the Yangtze River. Their itineraries range from four to 11 days, covering destinations such as Chongqing, Yichang, Shanghai, and Wuhan.
