Carnival Cruise Line has notified booked passengers of adjustments to the 2025-26 itineraries for the Carnival Spirit.

The cruise line announced that the ship will no longer make several scheduled stops at the port of Bimini in the Bahamas. A total of ten sailings have been affected by this change, including departures on November 8, November 22, December 6, December 20, and December 28, 2025.

In 2026, the itineraries for cruises departing on January 31, February 14, February 28, March 14, and March 28 have also been revised to exclude Bimini.

Despite the removal of Bimini, the eight-night itineraries will still feature stops in Nassau, Celebration Key, and either Half Moon Cay or Princess Cays. Departing from Mobile, Alabama, these cruises will also include three days at sea in the Caribbean.

Carnival Cruise Line assured guests that shore excursions planned for the canceled Bimini stops will be automatically refunded to their original form of payment.

The Carnival Spirit, currently repositioning from Alaska, will be based in Mobile for the winter of 2025-26. The ship, which can accommodate 2,100 passengers, will offer a variety of six- to eight-night cruises to the Bahamas, as well as a single five-night cruise to the Western Caribbean in October.

Following its repositioning cruise through the Panama Canal, the five-night itinerary will include stops in Puerto Progreso and Cozumel, Mexico.

The ship’s schedule for the 2025-26 season also features a special 14-night Carnival Journey in January, which will sail to the Southern Caribbean with planned visits to the Dominican Republic, Puerto Rico, St. Thomas, Aruba, Curaçao, and Jamaica.

While Bimini is no longer part of the eight-night itineraries, it remains a stop on the six-night cruises, which will also include visits to Celebration Key or Nassau.
