Chaos broke out at the Galveston Cruise Terminal today when a major fight erupted in the luggage pickup area after passengers disembarked from Carnival Cruise Line’s Carnival Jubilee. The disturbance occurred after the ship completed a seven-night round-trip voyage to the Western Caribbean.

Videos from the terminal show a chaotic scene, with a large group involved in a physical altercation, punching and striking at least two men while several children stood nearby watching.

Amid the commotion, a security staff member rushed in to intervene, soon followed by two officers attempting to restore order. The situation remained volatile, with one officer even being pushed back during the struggle to contain the brawl.

Reports shared in the Facebook group "COPs - Cruisers Opinion Page" suggest that tensions had already been simmering during the cruise itself, with several guests alleging that fights had broken out on board prior to the terminal incident.

Carnival Cruise Line issued a statement regarding the altercation:

"The incident occurred in the debarkation area under the authority of U.S. Customs and Border Patrol. This matter has been turned over to law enforcement. Meanwhile we will not tolerate such behavior and 24 people have been placed on our Do Not Sail list. They can go on another cruise line if they want but are never welcome back with us."

The cruise line has made it clear that individuals involved in the incident are permanently banned from sailing with Carnival in the future, underscoring the company’s strict zero-tolerance stance on violent behavior.
