Earlier this month, the Royal Princess set sail from Australia on a 33-night repositioning voyage bound for Alaska.

Departing Sydney on April 11, 2025, the ship’s month-long journey features a variety of stops throughout the Pacific before its arrival in Vancouver in mid-May. The 2013-built vessel had just completed a winter season based in Australia before beginning its transpacific itinerary.

The voyage began with calls in New Zealand, visiting Tauranga and Auckland, before heading into the South Pacific. On its way toward Hawaii, the Royal Princess is scheduled to stop in Pago Pago, Moorea, and Papeete, where passengers will enjoy an overnight stay.

The ship will also spend two days in Honolulu before making port visits along the North American West Coast, including Los Angeles, San Francisco, San Diego, and Victoria.

Upon arrival in Vancouver, the Royal Princess will kick off its Alaskan summer season with a five-night repositioning cruise to Seattle, featuring a visit to Ketchikan. This marks the start of the ship’s regular "Inside Passage" sailings for Princess Cruises.

Throughout the summer, the Royal Princess will offer weekly Inside Passage cruises departing every Saturday from Seattle. The itinerary includes stops in Ketchikan, Juneau, and Skagway, scenic cruising through Glacier Bay National Park, and a visit to Victoria, Canada.

Following the conclusion of its Alaska season in late September, the Royal Princess will head to warmer waters, spending the winter cruising the Mexican Riviera. Beginning in October, the 3,600-guest ship will sail seven-night roundtrip voyages from Los Angeles to Cabo San Lucas, Mazatlán, and Puerto Vallarta.

Additionally, the Royal Princess will offer Princess Cruises’ “Classic California Coast” itinerary on select dates in October and March, featuring stops in San Francisco, Santa Barbara, San Diego, and Ensenada, along with two relaxing days at sea.
