Wallenius Wilhelmsen Secures Major 10-Year Contract Extension

Norwegian car carrier company Wallenius Wilhelmsen has secured a 10-year contract extension with a global automotive equipment manufacturer, the company announced via an Oslo Børs filing. The name of the manufacturer has not been disclosed.
The extended agreement, valued at approximately $2 billion in total gross revenue, is scheduled to begin in April 2027.
Under the terms of the contract, Wallenius Wilhelmsen will offer a wide range of services, including vehicle receiving, end-of-line services, accessory installation, vehicle delivery management, distribution, storage, and digital supply chain visibility.
In addition to these logistics services, the company will continue to provide short-sea and deep-sea ocean transport solutions under separate agreements. Wallenius Wilhelmsen noted that this deal represents one of the most extensive service contracts in its portfolio.
The company also highlighted a shared objective with the client to expand the agreement in the future to include ocean transport services, while focusing on strategies that streamline operations and integrate advanced digital tools to ensure long-term efficiency and resilience.
